Site Testing with MoU Partner, Ranhill Water Services Sdn. Bhd. (RWS)

17 - 18 July 2020
  • Team members from UTAR at work.
  • The source of leak during the testing of the prototype built for water pipeline monitoring.
  • The span of leak - starting from S1 to S2 as its end point.
  • Local DMA at Jalan Pelanduk, Taman Scientex, Masai, Pasir Gudang, Johor. (GPS coordinate: 1°30'42.3"N 103°54'57.8"E).

A visit to Johor for prototype testing of the water pipeline monitoring system developed in UTAR. RWS provided a "simulated" leak to test the prototype developed. Besides that, we also obtained raw data collected using smarts sensors which RWS own, to identify the pipeline leakage location. The local DMA is located at Jalan Pelanduk, Taman Scientex, Masai, Pasir Gudang, Johor (GPS coordinate: 1º30'42.3"N 103º54'57.8"E).
